The Tempi variety is characterized by stability of the vegetation period, in particular the timing of flowering. The plant shows good adaptability when cultivated in both traditional and low-input farming systems.

The variety demonstrates stability of seed quality indicators, in particular starch content. In breeding work, the variety is considered from the perspective of reducing the level of toxic substances in biomass.

The purpose of the variety includes fodder production, including the harvesting of green mass and hay, with the possibility of use in organic and environmentally oriented agricultural systems.
