The Zefyros variety is intended for the production of fresh forage, hay, and silage. It is suitable for use in low-input farming systems and as a cover crop for improving soil fertility.

In agronomic studies, the variety is noted as one of the most stable and productive. It demonstrates good adaptation to various growing conditions, although detailed morphological parameters of the plant are not provided in scientific literature.
