The variety is a forage crop, which is often sown in mixtures with oats or other plants. For ten years, the variety served as a national standard in state variety trials.

Plants reach a height of 63–76 cm. With seed inoculation, the application of mineral fertilizers, and foliar feeding, grain yield can reach 2.5–3.2 t/ha.

The variety possesses complex resistance to adverse environmental factors and the ability to effectively absorb microelements. It is actively used in breeding work as source material for the creation of new hybrid lines.
