Variety description
10 August 2026
The variety was obtained as a result of crossing Vitis solonis and Vitis riparia and is known by the selection number Na 159-1. The plant is characterized by low vigor, which it transmits to the scion, and is not suitable for sites with sod, arid, or cold soils.
Morphologically, the young shoot has a slightly open shoot tip with moderate pubescence, and the young leaf is green with anthocyanin spots. The primary purpose of the variety in viticulture is to provide resistance to phylloxera for grafted crops.
