The plant is a vigorously growing deciduous vine that can be used for decorating walls, pergolas, and arches, grown in large containers, or trained as a standard tree. The height of an adult plant varies from 3 to 10 meters, reaching about 6 meters by 10 years of age.
Distinguishing features of the variety are the fragrant bicolored lavender-white flowers and the ability to flower profusely at a young age. The flowering period occurs in May-June. The plant is characterized by high frost resistance, withstanding temperature drops down to -30°C (USDA zone 4).
