The variety is part of the Dreamtime® series and was developed as an ornamental crop for pots and containers. Unlike tall forms of strawflower intended for cutting and dried bouquets, this variety features a compact habit.

The plant is resistant to root rot caused by Pythium. Features of the variety include stem resistance to lodging, leaf resistance to scorch, as well as the ability to form high-quality inflorescences indoors under low light conditions and a long flower life.
