The term Bílý has historically been used in agronomic catalogs as an indication of a color variation of Xerochrysum bracteatum inflorescences. Plants of this group do not possess fixed breeding traits of a variety.

Depending on the form, plant height varies from 30 to 110 cm. Inflorescences have a white color, often with a yellow center, and possess the dry bracts characteristic of the species, which retain their appearance after cutting and drying. Flowering occurs from June to September.

Plants of this group are used for flower bed design and for obtaining dried flowers for winter arrangements. The crop prefers sunny, wind-protected areas with good soil drainage.
