The plant forms a dense rosette of long, narrow, silvery-blue leaves that have a softer texture and less prickly tips compared to Yucca rostrata. The height of an adult specimen reaches 100–150 cm, and the width is 70–100 cm.
Flowering occurs in May–June, when the plant produces tall flower stalks with creamy-white flowers. The variety is characterized by faster growth and trunk formation than the parent species Yucca rostrata.
The variety possesses high winter hardiness, withstanding temperature drops down to –23 °C (zone 6a). The crop is resistant to diseases and drought, and also shows increased resistance to moist growing conditions.
