The plant forms cup-shaped or funnel-shaped spathes; peduncle height varies from 35 to 60 cm. Flowering occurs during the period from July to September. The leaves have a sagittate shape, dark green color, and characteristic light speckles.

The variety prefers sunny or semi-shaded areas with fertile, well-drained soil. It is a thermophilic plant; when grown in cold climates, it requires digging up the tubers for winter storage in a frost-free room. It requires moderate watering without waterlogging to avoid rotting.
