The variety forms a compact bush with green sagittate or cordate leaves, which are often speckled. The inflorescences have a vase-like funnel shape and a striking bicolored coloration in ivory and violet tones.

The plant is used as a pot culture, for cultivation in the open field in USDA zones 8–10, and as a cut flower. It prefers a sunny location or partial shade and fertile, well-drained soil. It is distinguished by sturdy flower stalks.
