The plant reaches 35–50 cm in height and width, and has green foliage. Flowering occurs in spring or summer. Flower color varies from coral and peach to pink, with the flower shade darkening as it matures, approaching the color of the foliage.

The variety is intended for landscape design, container cultivation, and cut flowers. It prefers well-drained soils and a location in full sun or partial shade. In regions with cool climates, tubers need to be lifted and stored for the winter.
