The leaves of the Frozen Queen variety have a translucent, silvery-white coloration, complemented by green streaks or margins, the pattern of which may expand as the plant grows. The inflorescences have a cup-shaped or tubular form, and their color ranges from wine-red and carmine-pink to dark burgundy shades.

The plant reaches a height of 35–50 cm and blooms in June–July, 8–10 weeks after planting. The variety does not have winter hardiness and requires the extraction of tubers from the soil in regions with cold winters. Successful cultivation requires good soil drainage to prevent rotting of the root system.
