The Acclaim variety is mentioned in publications and corn variety lists from the early 2000s as a very early-maturing hybrid. In field trials of previous years, this variety demonstrated the lowest yield level among counterparts, however, it was distinguished by high dry matter and starch content.
In modern agronomic catalogs, corn under the name Acclaim is not widely presented as an actual field variety, and this name is currently more often associated with a grain sorghum hybrid.
