A French-bred hybrid tested in the 1970s. It was considered a promising high-yielding variety for cultivation in pure stands or intercropped with sugarcane.
The plant was characterized by early flowering and silking, had reduced vegetative growth, a short stalk, and low ear placement. High lodging resistance was noted.
