The hybrid contains the genetic modification MON 810, known as YIELDGARD, which provides the plant with resistance to pests. This variety was used in agricultural trials in European countries.
In some climatic conditions, the variety was classified as too late according to the FAO index, which led to restrictions on its use in certain regions.
