The hybrid is a plant 190–210 cm tall with a strong stem and a sturdy root system. The ear is cylindrical, about 18 cm long with 16–18 rows of kernels; its height of placement is 87 cm. The grain is of the flint-dent type and is yellow-orange in color.
The plant possesses high drought tolerance and cold hardiness. The grain contains 9.2–9.5% protein and 70–74% starch. When grown for grain, the yield varies from 114 to 166 c/ha; when cultivated for silage, the dry matter yield is 276 c/ha.
