Maize variety Joy is an ultra-early four-line hybrid with an FAO 140 rating. The plant is characterized by rapid initial development, including at low temperatures, and high adaptability to various growing conditions. The genetic basis of the hybrid includes flint and dent type lines.
The variety is universal in its use, suitable for early ensiling and grain production, and is also suitable for the production of CCM/MKS feed. The produce is distinguished by a high starch content. In the conditions of the northern regions of Europe, the optimal growing period covers the interval from early May to mid-September; late sowing up to June 20 is also possible.
