The designation LG35 appeared in corn hybrid trial reports in the USA in 2001–2002. In scientific papers of this period, the genotype was mentioned in the context of research on resistance to diseases and pests, in particular to greenbug and Acremonium wilt.
Full agronomic characteristics, such as maturity group or detailed morphological traits, are absent for this sample. The name should not be confused with modern hybrids of the Limagrain company that have a similar abbreviation in their name.
