The hybrid, also known by the working name MDM 1514, is characterized by a high stalk and medium ear insertion. The grain is of a flint or flint-dent type, the thousand kernel weight is 330–350 g. The ear is of a flexible type and contains 16–18 rows, with 30–34 kernels in each.
The plant possesses high resistance to lodging and good drought tolerance. It shows resistance to Helminthosporium and Fusarium stalk and ear rot. It exhibits a stay-green effect and high digestibility, ensuring a balance of starch and fiber.
