The hybrid is intended primarily for silage use. The plants are characterized by high starch and fiber digestibility, which contributes to increased livestock productivity. The hybrid possesses a wide optimal harvest window; the maturity group for silage is approximately S 250.
The plant is very large and has a good ear structure with 14 rows of grains, with 26–28 grains in each. Very good germination, resistance to Helminthosporium leaf blight and lodging, as well as the ability to maintain a green leaf appearance at the time of ripening are noted.
