The hybrid belongs to the "waxy" type. Its grain contains almost exclusively amylopectin starch, which determines the specialized use of the harvest in the food and industrial sectors for obtaining specific types of starch.
The variety is characterized as mid-late. In agricultural surveys, its maturity group indicators are listed as FAO 400–420; in a number of sources, the range of 430–450 is also encountered.
