The hybrid is known by the trade name Asgrow RX 70 and in 1976 was listed among corn varieties subject to classification by the FAO maturity index. This variety was used as field corn for grain production.
During experimental studies in the 1970s, the hybrid demonstrated yield when grown under irrigation with treated wastewater comparable to indicators obtained with freshwater irrigation. Detailed morphological characteristics and data on the variety's disease resistance are absent from the sources.
