The variety, also known by the designation P 9002, has medium-height plants. The ears are nearly cylindrical in shape, thin, of medium length and low weight with a thin cob. The grains are small, pearl-type, arranged in 14 rows, and the ear tips are well filled.

The variety is late-flowering; high grain moisture is observed at harvest. Yield is below average. During heat treatment, the grains demonstrate a good expansion ratio, popping into a "butterfly" shape.
