The mid-early hybrid Boston F1 has a vegetation period of about 73 days. The average plant height is 210 cm. The ears are 20–21 cm long, 4.8–5.4 cm in diameter, and contain 16–18 rows of kernels with a depth of 11–13 mm. The kernels are characterized by a bright golden color and high uniformity.

The hybrid possesses resistance to a number of diseases, including high resistance to rust (Rp1-i) and maize dwarf mosaic virus (MDMV), as well as moderate resistance to northern corn leaf blight (Et) and bacterial wilt (Bm). It shows plasticity to growing conditions and is suitable for obtaining produce for the fresh market and processing when sown in open ground, or by using seedlings or film shelters.
