The hybrid is mid-maturing or mid-early with a maturity period of about 84 days. The plant is characterized by a stem height of 213 to 240 cm. The ears reach 24–26 cm in length, the kernels are large, bright yellow in color, and the number of kernel rows is 18–20.

Bratella F1 belongs to the super sweet corn type (sh2). The variety possesses a marked package of resistance to major corn diseases, including bacterial wilt (Erwinia stewartii) and northern corn leaf blight (NCLB).
