The plant is sufficiently robust and resistant to stressful climatic conditions, which allows it to be cultivated on various soil types. The weight of one cob can reach 400 grams; the kernels are distinguished by a shiny surface and a tender texture.

The variety is intended for fresh consumption and industrial processing. The commercial unit «Honey Bantam 78 Days» is a separate hybrid and differs from the historical variety «Honey Bantam» used in scientific research.
