The hybrid «Кокани F1» is mid-early, with a maturity period of 78–80 days. The plant height reaches 198 cm, and the first ear is formed at a level of 61 cm. The ears are cylindrical in shape, about 21 cm long and 4.8 cm in diameter, containing 18–20 rows of yellow kernels.

The plant possesses resistance to rust, common smut and head smut, bacterial wilt, Fusarium, as well as Fusarium stalk rot and maize mosaic virus.
