The hybrid belongs to the common sugary type containing the su gene, which provides a sucrose content approximately 2.5 times higher than that of dent corn varieties, amounting to about 13.5% at the milk stage. The kernels have a soft consistency at this stage.

The plant is intended for both fresh market consumption and industrial processing. The hybrid is mentioned in studies focused on examining tolerance to European corn borer damage.
