The Armagnac hybrid was used in experiments studying dry matter accumulation and the effect of various fertilization methods, including the use of wastewater and compost. The variety was also used in studies of chlorophyll and carotenoid content and resistance to aluminum toxicity.
In comparative trials conducted in Hungary, this hybrid was classified as mid-late (FAO 490). Within the same trials, grain yield was recorded, which proved to be lower than that of the Loupiac hybrid.
