The Betulisa maize hybrid is characterized by an increased lysine content (high-lysine). In available publications, it is known primarily as an object of phytopathological research.

During scientific work, this hybrid was used to study resistance to infection by Fusarium graminearum, Fusarium moniliforme/verticillioides and the accumulation of mycotoxins, such as deoxynivalenol and fumonisins. Detailed agronomic characteristics of the variety are absent in open sources.
