The hybrid Cesone belongs to the FAO 250 maturity group and is characterized by a plant height of 250–270 cm. The plants have a strong stalk, which provides high resistance to lodging, as well as resistance to Fusarium ear rot, drought, and low temperatures at the beginning of the growing season.
The produce is distinguished by a high starch content and good digestibility of the silage mass. The crop forms large, well-filled ears and demonstrates high energy efficiency when used as silage mass or raw material for biogas.
