Russian sources mention the maize hybrid Corvet, which has no connection to the breeding of KWS SAAT SE. Mentions of this hybrid are associated with the work of the Pervomayskaya Selection and Experimental Station.

There is also a field pea (*Pisum sativum L.*) variety called LG Corvet, the originator of which is the company Limagrain. This variety is characterized by resistance to downy mildew.
