The DKC 4943 corn hybrid was obtained by crossing an early-maturing French line with a North American one. The plant reaches a height of 240–270 cm and forms ears with 16–20 rows of kernels, with 37–42 kernels per row. The thousand kernel weight varies from 350 to 400 g.
The variety possesses high resistance to lodging, Helminthosporium, smut, and Fusarium. It tolerates high temperatures well during the flowering period and has pronounced drought tolerance. The hybrid is suitable for intensive and adaptive cultivation technologies and is characterized by rapid moisture release.
