The hybrid Erika F1 (MS Erika) belongs to the early-maturing sweet corn varieties. Plant height is 187–220 cm, the lower ear is set at a level of 65–90 cm from the soil surface.
The ear has a slightly conical shape, a length of 19–22 cm, and contains 18 rows of kernels. The weight of one ear is 188–200 g. The bright yellow kernels have tender skin and a high sugar content.
The plant is characterized by a strong stalk with good lodging resistance and adaptation to various climatic conditions, as well as general disease resistance. The produce is suitable for fresh consumption, freezing, and industrial canning.
