ActiveZea mays L. · Maize
Pioneer Overseas Cor, USA
10 August 2026
The hybrid belongs to the FAO 400–460 maturity group with a growing season of about 135 days. The plant has a strong stem resistant to lodging. A characteristic feature is the ability to form side shoots (tillers) with ears, as well as a tendency to form two ears on one plant.
The variety is general-purpose and suitable for use as both grain and silage, especially when grown on fertile soils. Removal of tillers in this hybrid is not recommended, as they participate in yield formation.
