The grain is of the dent type, yellow in color, with a thousand kernel weight of 280–300 g and an output of 80–82%. The protein content is 11.5%, starch is 74.5%, and fat is 3.0–4.0%.
The hybrid possesses good drought and cold tolerance, resistance to common smut and head smut, helminthosporiosis, stalk fusarium, and root rots. It is characterized by tolerance to the European corn borer and the property of stay-green.
