The Mutin hybrid belongs to the mid-maturing maturity group FAO 240. The grain has a flint-dent structure, and the hybrid type is three-way. The variety was bred in 1980.
Currently, the variety is not a commercial product for agricultural production. It is widely known in scientific literature as an object for physiological research, in particular when studying the effect of microelements on plant development and in the analysis of plant proteins.
