The KWS Ataco maize hybrid belongs to the FAO 700 maturity group. Plant height is 290–320 cm, and ear insertion height is at the level of 100–120 cm. The ear contains 16–18 rows of kernels with 40–44 kernels in each.
The hybrid is characterized by average moisture loss and average drought tolerance. Under favorable conditions, the recommended plant density is 76–80 thousand plants per hectare; under unfavorable conditions, 55–70 thousand plants per hectare.
