Lovrin 400 is a simple hybrid (SC) of corn. According to the maturity classification, it belongs to the FAO 400 group, which defines it as a mid-season or mid-late hybrid.
In scientific literature, the variety has been repeatedly used as an object for agrotechnical and biological research. In particular, it was used to study the effect of mineral fertilizers, such as nitrogen and silicon, on yield indicators, and an analysis of the carotenoid content in the grains was also carried out.
The hybrid is intended for industrial agricultural purposes and retains its significance in the scientific community as important breeding material.
