The hybrid belongs to the FAO 330 maturity group and is intended exclusively for grain production. The plants have dent-type grain, are characterized by good lodging resistance, and have an average stem height.
The variety possesses resistance to major diseases, including Fusarium stalk and ear rot, stalk rots, as well as common smut and head smut. Moderate resistance to European corn borer damage is noted.
The hybrid was bred within the WATERLOCK program, which provides increased crop adaptation to adverse drought conditions. Due to the ability for rapid grain moisture loss during ripening, production costs for subsequent drying are reduced.
