Minnesota 13 is an heirloom dent corn variety widely cultivated in the first half of the 20th century. It is not a modern commercial hybrid with fixed characteristics, but acts as historical genetic material.
This variety served as one of the most important foundations for the development of the hybrid corn industry, providing germplasm for the breeding of numerous selection lines.
