The hybrid belongs to the Optimum® AQUAmax® line and is classified as mid-maturing or mid-late with an FAO of 330 to 360. Plants are characterized by a large stature or medium height; grain type is dent.

Key features of the variety are high adaptability to moisture deficiency and very rapid grain moisture dry-down during maturation. Resistance to smut diseases is rated 8 out of 9; high tolerance to helminthosporiosis and normal lodging resistance are also noted.

Recommended plant density is 60–70 thousand plants per hectare under arid conditions and 75–80 thousand plants per hectare under favorable moisture conditions. The hybrid is cultivated using conventional technology.
