The hybrid is characterized by a strong stem and a relatively short height of up to 210 cm. High resistance to lodging is claimed due to its short stature, as well as high drought tolerance of up to 90%. Resistance to Helminthosporium leaf blight and Fusarium is noted at the 90% level, and to common smut up to 80%.
The yield potential is up to 15–19 t/ha, with an average of 13.5 t/ha. A distinctive feature of the hybrid is its rapid grain moisture loss.
