The line belongs to the yellow dent maize type. It is best adapted for cultivation in the northwestern and north-central regions of the USA, as well as in Canada, and is used to create hybrids with a relative maturity of about 88 days.
The plant performs best as a male parent, but can also serve as a female form. In hybrid combinations, the line demonstrates resistance to stalk and root lodging, increased resistance to stalk breakage, as well as good test weight of the grain and plant health at the end of the growing season.
