The Ph18ds object is an inbred maize line developed for use in breeding programs. Due to the status of the genetic material, information regarding the composition of hybrids created on the basis of this line is intellectual property and is not disclosed.
Technical descriptions of the line in patent documentation contain characteristics for the identification of the object. It is noted that the grain rows in this line are less distinct compared to the PHAJE line. Agronomic indicators, such as plant height or maturity group, are not publicly defined for this line, as they are established for the final commercial hybrids.
