The Ph24f1 line was obtained by the pedigree method through crossing two inbred lines, PHV6K and PHH9H. This material is classified as an elite inbred line, the main purpose of which is the evaluation of combining ability and the creation of hybrid forms of corn.
During the development of the line, selection was carried out according to criteria of yield, grain quality, resistance to stalk lodging and pests, as well as plant health and pollen characteristics. This line is not a commercial F1 hybrid and represents intermediate breeding material.
