PH21T is an inbred maize line that is not a commercial variety or hybrid for mass cultivation. Its main purpose is to be used in breeding work as a parent component in the creation of new hybrids.
Within the framework of breeding trials, this line is used to evaluate productivity and progeny characteristics such as lodging resistance, ear height, and disease resistance, particularly to gray leaf spot. The morphological parameters of the line do not correspond to the characteristics of varieties intended for agricultural production.
