The line was created by crossing inbred lines followed by haploidization, chromosome doubling, and multi-year selection for key agronomic traits. The breeding process included staged self-pollination and stability testing of the lines.
Plants reach a height of approximately 2.14 m, and leaf blade width is approximately 9.15 cm. Ears have a conical-cylindrical shape, and the grain is of the dent type. Selection considered tassel size, pollen shedding intensity, stalk lodging resistance, and overall plant health.
