The RGT Chromixx hybrid is characterized by a compact growth type and low cob placement. The plant possesses a sturdy stem and resistance to lodging. The hybrid belongs to a group of adaptive varieties capable of tolerating arid conditions.
The variety possesses high resistance to diseases, in particular to Fusarium ear rot, with low susceptibility to common smut and a medium level of susceptibility to Helminthosporium leaf blight. The grain is distinguished by good quality, high test weight, and high digestibility, making it suitable for feeding pigs.
The primary intended use of the hybrid is grain cultivation, however, it is also suitable for use as high-moisture maize or as a raw material for the production of feed and silage with a high energy and starch content.
