The hybrid is characterized by rapid initial growth and a strong root system that provides lodging resistance. The ear contains 14–16 grain rows; under favorable moisture conditions, the plant is capable of forming a second ear.
The grain is distinguished by rapid moisture release during maturation. Starch content reaches 74.2%, protein — about 8.4%, oil — 3.8%.
The hybrid possesses high tolerance to common smut, root and stalk rots, as well as helminthosporium leaf blight. It is adapted to various soil types, effective use of natural fertility, and cultivation in monoculture.
